Accommodation and food at NaraTika Community Learning Centre
During the placement in Okhaldhunga, volunteers stay at the NaraTika Community Learning Centre (NTCLC) in a safe, peaceful and community-based environment. Volunteers are accommodated in shared rooms/dormitory-style facilities, allowing them to live together, share daily experiences and build strong friendships with fellow volunteers. The centre provides basic and comfortable facilities, including sleeping arrangements, shared bathrooms, common spaces and access to the learning centre. There will be simple nepali standard food prepared by Nepali staff.
Living at NTCLC gives volunteers the opportunity to experience simple rural/natural life, interact with local community members and become more closely connected with the project activities and the surrounding community.
